As a Service Delivery Manager you’ll be joining at an exciting period of growth for both the team and the organisation.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Performing the role of major incident manager during core US business hours
  • Develop an asset inventory of applications & systems, and designing processes to ensure it is accurately maintained by technology
  • Maintain the inventory of critical business applications & systems that underpin our vital business processes
  • Identify and implement improvements to the major incident response process, driving automation and improving communication mechanisms

We're looking for someone who is...

  • Passionate about delivering excellent service and instilling service excellence across technology 
  • An excellent communicator, able to translate technical issues to non-technical audiences and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experienced working in a service management team, within an agile environment
  • Versatile and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Certified in ITIL v4 or can demonstrate they have applied it effectively

  • Service Management at Simply Business is a brand new team. You’ll be joining at an exciting period of growth for both the team and the organization
  • You’ll have the opportunity to work with the Service Management Lead to shape the future of service management at Simply Business
  • You’ll be the first member of the service management team in the US, which is undergoing a period of substantial growth
  • You’ll need the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of business stakeholders, including risk, compliance, technology and control owners, and within our parent company (Travelers)

What's going on with work from home and return to the office?

More and more, people are talking about going back to the workplace and the new normal. At Simply Business, we’re thinking of it as a Better Normal. That means offering our SBers more choice and greater flexibility to work in a way that’s best for their particular job, their teams, and their lives.

We’re shifting to a hybrid working model, so we’ll have employees working virtually and in the office at any given time.

We’re also aware there are times when working together in person is the best way to get things done. We expect our SBers to connect in their hubs (that’s what we call our offices) most likely 4 times a month. That said, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so we expect all SBers and their teams will find the operating rhythm that works best for them.

If you’re wondering what it might be like for you at Simply Business, our Talent Acquisition is happy to answer any questions. In fact for them, it’s perfectly normal.
