Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Want the opportunity to be part of a team that puts the customer at the centre of decision making and business strategy? As a Senior Insight Manager you’ll join the small, but pioneering Customer Insights team, which is part of the global Customer Experience function supporting both our UK and US businesses (although this role will largely work within the UK context).
As a Senior Insight Manager, you’ll:
- Be taking on the strategic leadership and practical management of some complex Insight Programmes: from identifying the business’ needs, to research design and implementation (taking advantage of industry developments and best practice), and finally undertaking all analysis and insights crafting.
- Ensure rich customer insight and actionable, commercially-sound recommendations from these programmes, ad-hoc insight projects and all other available insight assets are surfaced at the right time in the right way to empower employees across Simply Business to make customer-centric, informed business decisions.
- Regularly propose and deliver proactive work to address emerging business challenges, support the longer-term customer strategy and help prepare the business for evolving customer needs.
- Promote the use and value of the Insight Programmes and the wider Customer Insight team, particularly to wider potential audiences by effectively understanding the business’ challenges and objectives of these teams and delivering appropriate engagement approaches.
- Actively contribute to company social, environmental and DEI goals
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Insight professional with advanced quantitative and qualitative research and project management skills. (We are open to agency and client-side candidates, but as we do a lot of insight work in-house we expect candidates to have a fair amount of hands-on experience)
- Is a self-starter and team player: able to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a proactive and driven mindset to get stuff done.
- Is a compelling storyteller, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Has a proven track record of interpreting data and information from various sources to craft strong insights and translate these into actionable business recommendations.
